Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare extends hours of operation for outpatient radiology services at the Center for Health

ELMHURST – It is estimated that one out of three Americans will undergo some type of medical imaging examination each year. And for many of those people, finding the time to schedule their appointments can be difficult. To make the process more convenient, Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare (EMHC) will begin offering expanded hours of operation for radiology services at the Elmhurst Memorial Center for Health.
Beginning March 5, the Center for Health, located at 1200 S. York Road in Elmhurst, will be open on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., offering screening mammograms and CT scans to provide more options to patients who have weekday work or school hours. In the future, more services will be added at the Center for Health.
”We realize that many of our patients may find it difficult to schedule appointments during the week so we adopted this convenient approach to outpatient testing to allow for more flexibility,“ said Leo Fronza, President/CEO of EMHC. ”This is a unique offering that is not available at other nearby healthcare facilities.“
