Foundation Leadership
The Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization with a separate board of trustees from Elmhurst Memorial Hospital and Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare. Members of the Foundation board live or work in the communities served by the Hospital, and their personal and/or professional expertise provides valuable leadership in support of the organization’s professional and administrative staff.
As a not-for-profit organization, there are no owners or shareholders, and the trustees serve without financial compensation. The net revenue earned by the enterprise is reinvested to fund enhancements to the physical plant, purchase of state-of-the-art equipment and fund the overall healthcare mission, which includes caring for those who are unable to pay for their medical care and services.
