How can I pay my bill?
We offer multiple ways for you to pay your bill.
Phone: There are two ways to pay your bill by phone:
- Call the automated phone system at 630-782-7869.
- Call the number listed on your billing statement and speak to one of our patient representatives.
Mail: You can mail a check, money order or credit card information using the return envelope provided with the statements and letters. If you do not have the envelope provided, mail your payment to:

In Person:
You can pay in person at our cashier desk located at the Hospital. The hours of operation are from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. This office is located just beyond our main lobby on the first floor.
Does Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare offer payment options?
If you are unable to pay the full balance on your account, monthly payments based upon an approved payment schedule are acceptable. Please contact our patient representatives at 630-993-5700 or one of our financial counselors at 630-993-5116 to establish a payment plan that is mutually agreeable.
Can I pay the balance by credit card?
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express or Diners Club. You may charge any payment by utilizing one of these credit cards. We can also take this information over the phone by calling 630-782-7869, if it is inconvenient for you to come to a cashier window in person.
Can I obtain financial assistance to cover my bill?
We participate in a number of financial assistance programs that are designed to assist our patients in resolving their financial obligations for Hospital services. These programs are examples of our commitment to providing quality healthcare services to all patients, regardless of their ability to pay.

Financial counselors are available to determine eligibility for Medicaid, to provide information regarding financial assistance programs and to discuss payment options. Please contact our financial counselors at 630-993-5116.
What is the Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare financial sssistance program?
We developed the financial assistance program to help our patients who do not have health insurance. This program provides discounts for uninsured patients who meet certain financial criteria.
Who is eligible for the program?
We provide financial assistance to patients based on their income, assets and needs. The amount of the discount depends upon family income, number of dependents and the amount of the bill. The discount ranges from 10 percent to 100 percent.
How do I apply for the financial assistance program?
Please call our financial counseling office at (630) 993-5116 or in-house Ext. 35116 to request a financial assistance form. Once we receive the completed form and supporting documentation, it will be forwarded for consideration. You will be notified of the decision.
Will the discount be applied to all of my bills?
The financial assistance program applies to the Hospital bills only and not those you may have received from your physicians.
