Elmhurst Memorial Hospital’s Dr. Malloy recognized by Northwestern University Medical Alumni Association

ELMHURST –Mary Ann Malloy, M.D., an internist with the Elmhurst Memorial Elmhurst Clinic and on staff at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, was recently honored with the 2012 Service Award from the Northwestern University Medical Alumni Association (NU/MAA).
Dr. Malloy received the honor in recognition of her service as a former Board member; past president of the Nathan Smith Davis Recognition Program, which honors donors, alumni and faculty who support the school financially and/or with their service; and co-class representative as well as her service in reunion planning and special projects.
“We believe Dr. Malloy set the standard for dedication and service to Northwestern and were pleased she was selected to receive the 2012 Service Award,” said Ginny Darakjian, Assistant Dean for Alumni Relations at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
The Northwestern University Medical Alumni Association Service Award is presented annually to the alumnus or alumna whose extraordinary contributions of their time and effort to the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and NU/MAA merit special recognition. The recipient is selected by the NU/MAA national Board.
Dr. Malloy has been a member of the EMH Medical Staff since 1972 and has served as a Trustee on the Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Foundation Board since 1985. She was instrumental in co-chairing the Campaign for the New Elmhurst Memorial Hospital and now serves as Chair of the Foundation’s Resource Development Cabinet.
