Visitor Information
We recognize that it is important to have family and/or friends with you before and after your surgery. Below are some guidelines for your visitors while they are at the Hospital.
Can my family be with me?
You may have two adult visitors with you in the room while being prepared for surgery. If more than two family members and friends accompany you to the Hospital, they may wait in the lobby and take turns being with you. No visitors are allowed in the operating rooms or the recovery room (Post Anesthesia Care Unit).
Where will my family be when I am in surgery?
During your surgery, your family members and friends will be on the first floor of the Hospital in the surgery waiting area, located across from the gift shop. A volunteer will be there to assist visitors and answer questions. Your family members and friends will be notified when your surgery has started and when you are in the recovery room.
Will my family talk to the surgeon?
The surgeon will contact your family when your surgery is completed.
