Requests related to a particular patient's current inpatient stay regarding actual nurse staffing for each unit can be requested from the team leader on the unit in person, in writing or via telephone.
Requests unrelated to a particular patient's stay for general staffing information including the methods used to determine and adjust staffing levels and historical records can be requested in writing. Requests for staff training information for those working in inpatient direct care areas in the following classifications: direct care nursing staff, transport and housekeeping services, dietary personnel and licensed allied health professionals may be inspected upon request in person (Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.), via telephone ( 630-833-1400, Ext. 44671) or in writing.
