In June 2011, the Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Main Campus opened near the corner of York Street and Roosevelt Road in Elmhurst. This five-story, 866,000-square-foot hospital sits on a fully integrated, interconnected 50-acre campus that puts convenience front and center.

  • Emergency Department patients are ensured privacy with two doors in each of the rooms. One door is for staff and the other for the patient's family.
  • The new acute care Hospital features 259 private inpatient suites.
  • The campus layout makes it easy for patients to go from on-site physician offices to diagnostic testing, or to inpatient or outpatient care.
  • Situated on a highly accessible 50-acre lot, the new campus will be surrounded by expansive green space, sparkling ponds and healing gardens.
  • A retail complex inside the Hospital puts visitors at ease, and an on-site pharmacy simplifies the visit for patients.

Knowing these five things will help everyone transition to the now open Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Main Campus at Roosevelt Road and York Street in Elmhurst.
