Elmhurst Memorial Behavioral Health Services provides free assessments to determine the most effective level of care. Just one call to our 24-hour Access Center (630-941-4577). puts you in touch with a caring staff willing to assist you in identifying behavioral health issues or answering questions by offering:
- Information about behavioral health services
- Appointment scheduling for free patient assessments
- Pre-certification of patients prior to admission
- Information about other services available within the community
We have a highly trained psychiatric staff and substance abuse professionals, including therapists, registered nurses and social workers who are supervised by a board-certified medical director. In addition, a full array of physicians and medical professionals are available to patients during their treatment in order to provide a holistic assessment and treatment.
We also recognize that financial concerns may sometimes create a barrier to treatment. Therefore, we have funding available for those who would not otherwise be able to afford treatment. We are one of the only hospital services in DuPage County that receives funding from the Department of Alcohol and Substance Abuse, which provides funding for those who meet the financial criteria so they may receive treatment for alcohol and/or drug dependency. We also have funding available from the Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Guild and accept most major insurance plans.
