The neuro-oncology clinic serves patients with benign, metastatic and primary brain and spinal tumors. Highly specialized medical professionals will evaluate you — all at one time and in one location — and discuss the location and type of the tumor. The team then recommends the treatment approach that the specialists believe is best for your situation.
The specialists consider all treatment options, such as surgery, radiation therapy (including CyberKnife stereotactic radiosurgery), chemotherapy and targeted therapy.
The neuro-oncologic team consists of medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, neurosurgeons, radiologists, pathologists and nurse navigators. Other specialists are consulted as needed, such as neurologists, interventional radiologists and dietitians.
Count on our experts to bring a unique perspective and experience to the table — every day. To learn more about our neuro-oncology program, contact our nurse navigator, Caroline Mangan, R.N., M.S., at (331) 221-2173 on Mondays and Fridays between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
