Cancer Program

Nurse Navigators

We understand that a new cancer diagnosis is difficult for the patient as well as for the patient’s family. That’s why we strive to identify and remove any barriers that could prevent expedited treatment and care.

Our multidisciplinary team of nurse navigators are oncology-certified nurses who guide you and your family throughout the process of diagnosis, treatment and recovery. The nurse navigator is your single point of contact, and will assist you with scheduling initial tests and consultations, providing education about your disease and treatment, and referring you to Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare and community support services as needed.
