• ID badges track when caregivers enter and leave your room to ensure that you receive the assistance you need.
• Smart pumps deliver, monitor and balance your medications while the nurse is away.
• Certain suites come equipped with whirlpool tubs for those seeking additional comfort and enhanced relief during labor.

We know it's important for you and your baby to bond, which is why you're together from the moment of birth until the time you leave the Family Birthing Center. You'll enjoy relaxing and bonding in a private room that is as baby- and family-friendly as your birthing suite.

Should your newborn require special attention, we have a fully equipped Special Care Nursery available with extended capabilities. Unique to Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, our private-room Special Care Nursery has been designed to keep the family together, with a space for parents to stay while their baby is being care for by specially trained nurses.
