Care Team
Throughout your stay at the Family Birthing Center, you’ll receive comprehensive care from our expert staff, including board-certified obstetricians, anesthesiologists, pediatricians and neonatologists (specialists in newborn care) who are on call 24-hours a day. Experienced perinatal nurses are specially trained to care for mom and baby throughout the birth and recovery period.
If you choose to breastfeed, our certified lactation consultants will help you get started. Breast pumps and other items for the breastfeeding mother may be rented or purchased from the Hospital.
And, to help you and your family learn all you can about your new arrival — before, during and after your pregnancy — our experienced instructors teach a variety of classes, including childbirth preparation, baby basics, exercise, infant/child CPR and much more.
