Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare offers women the latest technology in mammograms and bone density screenings. All Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare mammography technicians are trained in mammography screening as Registered Technologist in Radiology (Mammography), or RTR(M). Board-certified radiologists are on hand to read the screening results. Clinical densitometrists conduct the osteoporosis screenings.
Mammograms
Each of our mammography suites is equipped with General Electric Senographe DMR™ digital mammography equipment — the latest in mammography technology. This advanced technology ensures minimal exposure to radiation and produces superior breast images.
Bone Density Measurement
Early detection using a bone density measurement is the best way to protect yourself from the potentially debilitating affects of osteoporosis. A bone density measurement is simple, safe, noninvasive and painless. It is a process that is similar to an X-ray, and it requires no special preparation, medication or injections.
Women's Wellness Package
